It has been quite a month so far, and it’s not over yet!
We started February at the Salisbury Country Club hosting our 8th Annual Vendor Appreciation Luncheon, which had a great turnout. We had the honor of hosting 60 people as we celebrated our Raw Material and Logistics Vendors of the Year – something we have done since the inception of this event.
This year we also recognized two other vendors that we felt embodied one of our Core Values and truly went above and beyond. The first was essential in assisting our efforts in research and development, and the other was the first time we recognized an individual and not a company. This individual exhibited exceptional customer service with a key vendor and deserved special recognition given her attention to our account in 2018. All the award winners were truly deserving.
We were also very proud to have honored our very own plant manager, Jim Weaver, for his dedication to Aldo over the last 20 years by naming our training building in his honor. Jim may retire this spring, but all future events we host will be in The Weaver Training Center to honor his commitment to our success and growth through the years.
Last week we exhibited at the International Roofing Expo in Nashville, TN. The show set records in attendance and we could not have been happier with the turnout and the growing interest in our full line of roof restoration coatings and accessories. The overwhelming interest and engaged participation from the traffic in our booth was very positive, especially once they found out that we can fill all of their fluid applied product needs – a veritable one stop shop. The clear takeaway from the show is that the roof coating market continues to expand and Aldo Products Company, Inc. is perfectly positioned to service this growing market with our contractor-direct sales channel.
